Beta Blogger
I upgraded the blog to the New Blogger. When I did, it said that all members of the blog team need to upgrade as well. I'm assuming when you login to blogger.com and go to the dashboard, it will suggest you upgrade. Also we can now place labels on the post that create searchable categories. In other words, we could have a category called "Books" for a post on an interesting book or a must-read book. Then later we could look at all the posts under "Books." We'll figure it out. If you are unable to upgrade, let me know.

I'm not sure I want to upgrade. I've heard too many horror stories about all the Blogger Beta glitches. Can anyone confirm whether it's safe to switch yet? What kinks haven't they ironed out yet? What's the "catch"?
Mike,
I had some problems when I first switched to Beta, but I think it was because I tried to do it halfway (I switched accounts, but kept my old blogger template). Now that I've changed it it seems to be working okay. Besides, I believe the plan is to do away with old blogger - and I had heard changing group blogs like this one was one of the last steps. So... that's all I know.
Okay, so I switched. Of course, I realized that I can't use most of the new features unless I want to wipe out my entire template, which I've spent way too much time tweaking to be willing to do. Oh well, at least I can post here again. :)

And once you start compromising your blog just to be part of the group, who knows what will be next. :)
Yeah, it's a pain, but it had to happen sooner or later. I highly recommend starting a "test blog" to mess around with before you switch your main template (which looks really nice, btw). Some of my stuff switched over and some didn't. But I'm not overly knowledgeable about these things.
Welcome back.
