The world is changing rapidly. Postmodern thinking is increasing in the west and the East is becoming part of the Global community. Many in the Churches of God General Conference are interested in what church will look like as fresh expressions in the 21st century. This blog has been encouraged by the CGGC but in no way reflects the official thinking of the denomination. It is a place for free flow of thought and conversation.

Congrats Fran. I got my copy from Amazon a couple weeks ago, and it's on deck.
Thanks, Dan. And thanks, Brian, for making this known here. I started the journey of writing this book because I wanted a discipleship tool for those new to our church community (Christians and spiritual seekers), a tool that would help open to people the kind of Christianity I and my leaders have come to believe in. I'm taking my first group of people through it now, and so far I'm pleased with the conversations and movements of heart it is generating.
I got my copy last week, but had to finish reading "The Myth of A Christian Religion" by Boyd and "Adventures in Missing the Point" by Campolo and McLaren. I am not on chapter 3 of The Forgotten Way of Jesus and will be writing a comprehensive review of it on Amazon. I think others should consider doing the same. The more activity on the page for the book, the more attention it will get on Amazon's auto feed to recommend books to customers based on their prior purchases and word searches. Also, some feedback would help viewers of the page look more seriously at a self published work. :) I usually knock out 2 books a week so I should be done with this in a few days. :)
